In the movie "The Color Of Money" with Paul Newman and Tom Cruise Newman handed Cruise a pool cue and told Cruise that it was some very special cue and said it was called something that I think started with the letter "B". This has been bugging me so bad lately for no apparent reason. I'm sure someone here will tell me to go out and rent the dvd. Cannot...unfortunately I'm disabled and just don't feel comfortable asking someone to do something like that. Silly maybe, true yes. Thanks to all.

The "Balabushka" cue in the movie was actually a Joss N7(not a Meucci as many believe), made to resemble a classic Balabushka. George Balabushka (December 9, 1912 - December, 1975) was a Russian-born legendary billiards (pool) cue maker, arguably the most prominent member of that profession, and is sometimes referred to as "the Stradivarius of cuemakers". His full name or last name standing alone is often used to refer to a cue stick made by him. Good question, and well written.
