Zelda: Twilight Princess, how do I get to the Lanayru province?

Question

so in the beginning, when it's your first time going to Lanayru province to save llia. I can't get there. right now I'm at this place that looks like it once was part of hyrule kingdom, there are these little round red target things in some places, and there is a ledge i can just barely reach that leads to another that is too far away. so am I supposed to do something with the targets or jump to the ledge or something totally different? Please Help!

Call bird from Lake Hylia. Fly it to the Upper Zora River. Follow Zoras through the brick tunnel. Check map and enter the Castle Town (Center Square area in Hyrule map) through the closest side entrance. I think it's east side. Go to room in bottom left. Just before exiting through south gate once in Castle town. Go down a couple stairs and there should be an open door. It's a bar and Illia is inside with Prince Ralis. Insect is right outside in jar or box. I dont remember which of the two. But the Last tear is in Lake Hylia. Mini boss battle with giant insect. Attack when its not zapping and hold B to release energy wave and lock on then release to attack. Jump from platform to platform to get closer to the bug. Hope this somehow makes sense. Haha. :)

To enter the province, you have to dig under the fence as Link in his wolf form. There should be a patch of dirt of a different color to go underneath it.

If that doesn't help, you can always try the guide from Gamespot.com. Its available for free in a pdf format and you can search it pretty easily.

turn sense on and there sholud be a shiny bit near the gate dig there and that should work if not go on the
