unfortunately, i had to watch the world cup in the american espn. the commentators do not know anything about football, and they cant say rosicky's name right, they say ro-see-kee

is there any bomb called a suicide bomb? all bombs will kill a person if he straps it to his body. i am not aware of this "suicide" bomb. please clarify

I don't think ESPN cares about the commentators - I don't get it, sportscenter is pretty good with most sports, and yet, your right, American commentors are boring - to be polite. I haven't seen one game where an American commentator doesn't make you turn the volume down.

I know what you mean, I watched some of the matches on ESPN & ABC for the WC and they sucked. Like JLS said, they talk about random **** that's so off topic and unimportant. So that is why you swtich to the Spanish channel and hear some badass commentators who get very into the game.... Now that's exciting. lol :D

Because they don't get as excited about footy/soccer as much as they do with other lame sports! Unlucky for you, you watched it with them American commentators. I watched the World Cup on the Spanish channels and the commentators were really wack about it!!! They really put alot while narrating play by play!

Play by play announcers in the USA are naturally boring in any sports you should have seen (or heard) those clowns ESPN has in Monday Night Football (NFL).

they talk about the most irrelevant crap when something good is happening on the pitch, and worst part is that they think we care o_0
