The monitors consist of 2 things:
- the LCD panel in the middle.
- the case in wich it is put in and the stand.

The LCD panel is made by Chemi or Samsung.
The case is made by Dell themselves.

Dell takes the panel from either of these companies, incases it in it's casing and ships it as a "Dell Monitor".
