Actually comet or soft scrub on a sponge and believe it or not, that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. That won't take off the black but will take off the scuff marks. This is gay, but if nothing works (which I doubt) color it in with black perm. marker. I do that to my kids shoes to last them through the season. You can't even tell.
