PlayStation through the net is superb.... believe it or not , if it cost a lot you will deserve it ... all what you need is modem for the PlayStation ( at least 35 USD ) & the internet service ... the whole cost is about 150 USD ( OR less ) at the first .. then comes the monthly or annual payment for the internet service ... any way you will enjoy playing with other online : )

no, it doesnt cost any money to play ps2 online, all you have to do is buy the online adapter, however it is pretty hard to find now. if you have the newer ps2, it comes with the adapter, so all you have to do is plug your ethernet cord (from the computer) into the ps2 adapter. if you have dial up you can use this plug as well, although most games require broadband. if you do not want to constantly unplug your ethernet cord from your computer, i would reommend buying a router so that you can use the web on the computer at the same time as you play ps2 online.

Playstation Network is free. The only things you have to pay for are downloadable content and MMO game subsscriptions.

no it does not cost any money u just need to hook up ur playstaion to ur modem or router using an ethernet cable that cost like $10 to $15 depending on length
