Yes, if only that “house haunting” came with an option that included living in a dwelling that was being preoccupied by my brother who has been deceased for nine years now for even when alive he always had a haunting personality.
I sort of miss that really. And, I am sure even in a dead form he would have no trouble at keeping that pursuing behavior alive.
A pursuing behavior that involved jumping out of nowhere and loudly screaming, “Boo!” which of course frightened me every time.
paaatches –In fact, I still have the Post-It note on the refrigerator door in which he wrote a week after he pasted on. It reads, “Boo! –(his name here).” The Post-It note was in response to him being unable to scare me for an entire week for I was getting pretty clever with his haunting schemes. So, I guess he figured he’d get me through a Post-It note. It made me smile when seeing it more than being terrified and I suppose I even contemplated the thought of sticking the Post-It note on his forehead and huffing the words, “Boo, yourself!” but surely there was a smile.

Yes and I still do. There are voices with no bodies, appliances go on and off by themselves, things are moved, footsteps are heard, furniture being moved, cold spots, dogs growling at what appears to be nothing.
As a matter of fact, I just called my daughter 3 nights ago crying because I was scared out of my wits! There was the loudest pounding coming from inside the house and I live alone! I though someone was trying to break in, but it was coming from upstairs - the second story. I knew it wasn't a break in-I knew better. I have lived in this house for 11 years and for 11 years there has been all sorts of phenomenon.

As a matter of fact I did live in one for seven years. Not a pleasant experience at all, two dogs died of fright, we heard all sorts of strange noises, felt unseen cold drafts, had our lights and faucets turned on and off and had my mom go to every catholic priest in the vicinity every month to bless the house. Then after it sort of tapered down a bit we had to deal with anniversary reactions and the morbid fascination of friends and relatives who also experienced strange events like opening and closing of doors by themselves. To this day I sometimes feel an involuntary shudder when I pass by the place where the house stood. A couple of years ago they tore the place down and built a parking lot, there is no way I'll ever park there.
By choice never.

Yes, because there is no such thing as a haunted house. If we wanted to see ghosts or spirits we don't have to go to a haunted house all you would have to do is meditate and concentrate on what or who you wanted to see and you would.

I apparently work in one, the care home I work in has at least three, so I've been told. I have seen some things I can't explain. Some people are scared of doing nights or being downstairs alone at night but I just talk to them. They either can't do us any harm or don't want to or they would have so there's nothing to be frightened of.
I must admit, it's amusing when the lift doors open without anyone calling for it. As I say to my colleagues, the ghosts have to get downstairs somehow.

Sure. I like to have all kinds of friends, Otherworldly friends included. You can never have too many friends. I draw the line at haunting the bathroom though. Some things are private.

I would go in one and hope to see something, or even stay at one of the notoriously haunted hotels (there seems to be a lot in Georgia) but I wouldn't want to live in one and have disturbances on a daily basis.

Many people have no choice. Britain is one of the most haunted countries in the world.

I do.
Her name is Claira (the woman who used to like in my 91 year old house), and she stays in the kitchen. Cupboards open when no one is in there, things fall ALL THE TIME and one time, she even made a heavy wooden sign fall on me (My mom was on vacation and I guess she thought my mom was gone... she likes my mom). Sometimes, I'll see a dark blob floating across the kitchen for a fraction of a second, as well.
So, to answer your question, I already live in a haunted house and it's not that bad. I dont think she means to hurt or scare any of us, she is just another member of our house... we call her our "friendly ghost".
You get used to it.

NO, I could never live in a haunted house. I'd be so nervous and jumpy. I wouldn't get anything done.
