When people will bother you about what you're wearing. Like they'll say you are too dressed up. Or like a few weeks ago, I went to church and everyone was freaking out because I wore peep toe heels becuase it was cold OUTSIDE... I was INSIDE! Omg its just so annoying and like my mom gets mad at me all the time, becuase I have to always be wearing a perfect outfit! And she doesn't really like fashion so like why would she understand? Fashion is my life, I think I'm gonna be a fashion designer.
I'm sorry for such a long question... wasn't a question really but I needed to rant about this!

It bothers me when I hear "Oh my god! You're wearing that?" I just feel like saying "no, i'm going to be naked, i just thought that i would show you what my other option is". I feel you with the peep-toe thing. I get that a lot. Between peep-toes, and strappy heels, and short sleeves and short skirts. It might be different if I was going to be outside all day but when the extent of my outdoor activities is walking to my car then what does it matter??? And high heels and stilettos! Why do people feel the need to ask if my feet hurt and say that they don't know how I do it? They aren't wearing them so they don't need to comment on how they think they must feel. I don't mind getting compliments, but don't criticize what I wear just because you can't pull it off. Sorry for the rant, you struck a nerve with your question. Good luck with designing!

I am a fashion freak and would love to do something in that industry as well. Sometimes ppl will say aren't you cold? I never wear nylons, even in the winter to a wedding or anything. I always wear peep toes all year round!! My mom though always tells me I look good no matter what I have on. I am really into it and really care less about what anyone else would ever say. I just wear what I want to wear. Even at kids b-day parties some ppl come in sweats, I for one, can't do that.

Omg i can totally relate... people will be why are you so dressed up, and my mom n my dad are always saying i change my style everyday, but i dont really i just like keeping up with the current fashion, which i do. Like you just want to look cute and sometimes that means your outfit needs to be perfect like so what, if you dont like it dont wear it. Basically i totally agree. Fashion is my life too. So when people are saying stuff to me i get mad cuz what do they know.

I'm a fashionista also I always need the perfect accessories. I can't be too matchy matchy but everything has to be right (even down to the fade of my jeans and the color of my shirt.) so just let the people bug you... I get it all the time! If you are pleased with your appearance is what matters!

My mom does that on the occasion especially when i wear flats and leggings when its 20 degrees outside.personally i dont see the big deal especially if im wearing a sweater,peacoat and scarf.and if I am cold then its my own fault im freezing.I too am a fashion addict and instead of being a fashion designer i want to major in fashion merchandise

Here's my take on fashion. If it's decent and clean, it's fine with me. Everyone has different tastes in styles and colors. Who is to say one style is right but another is wrong. There are people who get upset with jeans in church. Good grief! If they are nice and clean, who cares. Maybe it's all that person has.... and would Jesus really care???

i know what u mean! sometimes ppl ask y i wear certain things, but they just odnt understand that it doesnt matter what the wheather is lyk or its the outfit is comfortable. if it looks good, that's all that matters. plus, ppl have no right to critisize ur clothes. u have the right to dress nice and look good. =)

Who really cares about your fashion, besides in our generation mismatch fashion is on top. If you are comfortable and happy of your fashion.. it should be ok.

next time someone says that to you just look at them up and down and say (in well kind of a mean way) and tell me what you are wearing? (not that good of a dis but maybe you can think of one). or you can say .... and when did i care what you thought of me. one time i said that to one of my friends and she gave me this look like...OMG what did you say to me!
