The point is to visit an interesting city and also being able to relax at the beach. We're going in August.

Anywhere in the world, but preferably in North America. And not in Mexico (we're coming from Mexico).

NYC you have Jones Beach on Long Island. You could check out the Art Deco buildings, see a concert by a major act at the Jones Beach Theater, but the best part you could lay on the soft sand.

I stayed at South Padre Island, which became think to be an unique island south east of Texas, North East of Mexico, and it became in hassle-free terms a mile long and not very friendly. I stay in Michigan that's between the farthest northern states, so Florida became one, if no longer, the main unique place I even have ever been to. My female chum might argue that California is the nicest place yet they're the two the two eye-catching i'm specific. California is superb i'm specific with San Diego, yet Florida basically seems "new". The roads regarded freshly paved, the timber are unique, it basically seems nicely stored. i've got by no skill been to California yet one in each of my different buddies advised me i does no longer like it by way of fact summer season seems to by no skill end, he stated the air is dry and you basically pray for rain... regardless of the certainty that interior the iciness it rains, yet you get my waft. Goodluck! wish that helped...

Varna, Bulgaria is the place to go, it is steeped in history, has amazing weather and wonderful cafes etc in the centre. There is so much to do there that I never tire from visiting every year.

Bulgaria is also very reasonably priced with a 500ml beer costing about a dollar or 50 pence in the UK.
