I am not one that is out for best answers or anything, though its fun to get them, what my biggest pet peeve is, is why people post these great questions and URGENT questions and then not follow up on them? It takes less than 3 seconds to pick one and say what the conclusion was. ARGGGGHH its like never finishing that great book your reading.

I agree completly. At least 90% of the questions i answer go to voting. It annoys me because i put a lot of effort into them and actually try to help

GREAT question - I've got a few best answers for an "urgent" question; but it normally doesn't matter whether or not a question is labeled urgent or not - there are people who like to choose their own best answers, and then there are people who just like to randomly ask questions and let the question go to voters...which isn't exactly a bad thing...just annoying...

I think they just read the first couple answers and then leave. Especially if the advice is to see a vet ASAP.

i agree too!! the only ones i put up for voting, is when the answers are all kinda the same, and i can't choose. but i still do vote for the best answer, on my questions. you are right though.

my guess would be because right when they find the answer they are looking for, they don't go to answers again until the next question they need answered.
