sorry it took me a while to answer this I had to set up the track and actually race them and yes the turtle is faster the snail never moved. jk funny question though

Always go for the bigger animal. A small step for a turtle is a pretty long ways for a snail to crawl.
Turtles are a lot faster, when they want to be, than people give them credit for. Pick up a squirmy turtle, then set it down and just see how fast it hauls to get away from you! You can actually be hard-pressed to catch back up with a turtle running for its life!
Sure turtles are usually rather slow. It saves calories and keeps predators from noticing them so easily. That is not the same thing as being always slow or dumb in any way.

the turtle has a bad reputation about its speed because of that turtle and the hare story but dont let it fool you turtles are very fast espesially when there young my turtle is very fast
