.....you have no idea how to pronounce their last name?
Why can't everybody have a simple last name? What in the world were their ancestors thinking? : P

i have the easiest name in the world, Clancy and no one can pronounce it properly. It sounds like KLAN-CEE. So, I always say like the author Tom Clancy.
but my boyfriend's last name is the best. it is Lionello. Nonody can say it or spell it. So, I say lion and jello but drop the j. it is so easy. LYin' L O. is the pronounciation.
it drives me crazy.

Yes i tell them that I'm sorry but i don't know how to pronounce your last name and they pronounce it for me :)

Honey, I live in a Polish town. Almost everyone's last name ends in -ski. It's crazy! Thankfully, my last name doesn't end in ski.
