Do you think that more students need in school suspension or out of school suspension? Me I personally think that more students need in school suspension cause many of the students who gets suspended from school don't really care much cause for them the best part about getting suspended is that they don't have to attend classes, I think that they need to support in school suspension more often.

A good in school suspension program would be perfect for our school. When the kids get out of school suspension, they just relax and play all day. In school would be an actual punishment, and it would also give the school a chance to make sure the kids are learning during their punishment.

I went to a private school the ISS really sucked but the OSS would hurt your grade average so I stuck with the ISS also we had the option of receiving a paddling from the school principal I always did that to get it over with and I soon found out by joining the football team you didn't have to receive any of it and if you were lucky enough for your parents to donate a large amount of cash you didn't really need to go to class those were some good time God I love corruption even on a small scale

I believe that ISS is the best option.. My daughter hated it!! but if she got OSS, I took her to work with me! that was a real nightmare for her..
thank goodness she is an adult now, and has kids of her own.. (payback time)

I'm not sure if this applies to all school districts, but there is a bonus for ISS... the school is still compensated for attendance... If the student gets OSS then the school loses compensation for the attendance...
Some of the schools funding is based on the number of students and attendance.. a student misses for illness and the school still gets credit.. the student misses for 'personal reasons' and the school receives no credit...

I think that in school suspension would be more suitable for the unruly kids cause it would give them time to suffer from all the boredom they're gonna recieve while they're in I.S.S. and after they've completed their I.S.S. they'll think about what they can do to not get sent back to I.S.S.

What I think is that the young people who are getting suspended should on their own take personal responsibility for their lives and get their acts together. Social engineering punishment never works.

Good Luck!!!

ISS is what they need. OSS is dumb because then the kids get to do whatever the hell they want.
