Hello there Jimbob
Lowcostbeds.com are part of the lowcost travel group.
When I worked as a travel agent,we used them as an accomodation supplier. They are effectivley the middle man between the client/agent and the hotels. They have a good selection of accomodations all over the place and are reliable enough. I think they also do tailor made holidays ie flights, transfers & accom when you want and where you want instead of having a package holiday with the main tour operators.

As for their prices though, they were rarely the cheapest. Medhotels.com always seemed to have the best prices for accomodation and transfers, but as with all of those suppliers, depending on when and where you're booking prices vary a lot.

The only thing I would say is that if you are doing a tailor-made holiday with them, check you will be fully covered by ATOL (Air Travel Organisers Licence) if you are not and anything happens you may not get your money back. This is especially important if they book low cost flights through airlines like easyjet who cancel flights last minute (and we all know they do) if this were to happen and you are not covered, then you stand to lose money on your accomodation if you don't arrive when you say you will.
This applies to low cost airlines whether an agent books or you do it yourself so be very careful.

They do have an extensive network of accomodation, but do check you are getting the best deal.

Other accom sites to look at are:
www.medhotels.com
www.holidaybrokers.co.uk
www.somewhere2stay.com

Medhotels are very good for the main beach resorts in Europe as they will also organise transfers for you at a very reasonable cost.

All the best!
