I vote elephant... all that loose skin and powerful intestines. It's gotta stink too.

I don't know about loudest, but cows are certainly deadliest. They contain methane gas, and a lot of pollution can be traced directly back to dairy farms and bovine pastures, where farting cows can be blamed for ozone depletion.

The creature with the least amount of hair to muffle sound from the anus. Children fart louder than adults, for example. From a quick review of the UOP online library, there is no scholarly study on this topic. However you might be able to get a grant from the government to conduct such a study. :-)
