can anyone tell me about these colleges?

in scale of 1-5 what u give to them..( ,which ones are good ,?)
-Baruch College,
-State University of New York at New Paltz,
-Hunter College,
-Monroe College
-New York Institute of Technology

In terms of general academics, I'd probably rank them as follows:

1) Baruch
2) Hunter
3) New Paltz

But you could argue these exact placements, depending on your major. All three are decent schools. New Paltz, of course, is outside the city, and has much more of a traditional campusy college feel to it than the other two do.

Then, far from those three, I'd rank:

4) NYIT
5) Monroe College
