Yes, I have a good relationship with my parents. I also respect my parents and their advice very much. By the way, I am a married 33 year old parent of 5.

I only share stuff that they can give advise for. if its a question that i already know thw answer but want validation I ask a friend or sibling. I dont want my parents to think unfavorably about my husband so I wont share too much. Only share what you wont mind being brought up later.

it's different with my kids and me. I'm the first person they call when they have a crisis, and they share almost everything in their lives. we're very close. I think it's probably a result of my poor relationship with my own parents. I knew for sure what I did NOT want with my own kids.

Yes, we share our personal lives to a certain extent. I do not tell my mother things that she cannot handle, which is usually physical matters. But I do share other things, and she does with me also. We ask each other for advice. We have a good relationship.

Only the things I want them to know. Never share stuff about arguments with a spouse. You will forgive your spouse/bf/gf but your parents won't ever forget.

I barely ever tell my dad anything personal, but my mom is like my best friend. She and I can talk about anything, but there are still a few things she doesn't know. I mean, I think there are some things so personal that no one needs to know.

Sometimes, it depends on what. I find that most of the time when I do, it either ends up bad or good. It's weird, i think it depends actually on how THEY are feeling at the moment.

sometimes, but i'm a rebel at heart! i used to when i was really little, but not anymore! when you reach the teen years, you stop telling your parents so much, because that's when they expect you to be know right from wrong more!
