once rejected it is hard for us guys to go back for another beat down,,, so I don't blame Jim, since he probably wanted to go, but has to deal with the new gf, who is jealous of PAm and would make his life even more miserable, since they all three work together. that would not be confortable. As for Roy, he realizes what he lost, but soon as he gets PAm back, he will slowly reveert back to his old self, leaving Pam to wonder if it was the right move. So inorder to keep milking the storyline, Jim nees to get his sh*t together, and decide if he really wants to follow his instinct and go after Pam or deal with the original rejection and his rebound gf, who is cute also-- but not Pam, for which thwere is a natural attraction, not a forced one..

Tell me about it! I was so depressed when Jim didn't show up. My boyfriend and I argue about this all the time. I think that Roy does realize what he missed out on, but he just can't give Pam what she wants because they're just different people. Jim, on the other hand, is exactly what she wants, and I hope that she'll finally do something about it soon. Jim has already tried twice and although I wish he would try again, Pam really needs to let him know that she has been in love with him all along. Forget Karen! I think Jim is going to get sick of her soon.

I personally am pissed about it all! I sure hope they don't wait til the very last episode ever of the Office many years from now to have those two get together. I was totally thinking Jim would show up and have a good reason for being late. I like Roy. He seems nice now that he's trying to get her back, but I LOVE Jim and I want them to be together...

I know I wasn't expecting that at all for her to get back with Roy. Roy isn't supportive of her. I think Jim wasn't at the art opening because of Karen.
