clean and clear makes great products their is this lotion they have that feels so good going on the face called Morning Glow its oil free so no pimples its has spf 15 sun protection so no wrinkles and its sold in every drugstore and it costs only five dollars but it does the job....stay away from the face makeup for a while let ur skin clear up..the best thing every for your skin is to steam your face over a boiling pot of water with a towel over your head(be careful don't get burned) you can mix foundation and moisturizer for some coverup so its natural get yourself a dark brown straight brush mascara apply to the top and bottom of lashes and a nice lipgloss with a slight tint of color...you will look finished and pretty with out overdoing it and your skin can breathe! ♥

This seems to be a big problem in the winter, but unfortunately this is my problem too all year round. What i have found that works really well is Olay active hydrating cream. It doesn't clog your pores, so it wont be the cause of your breakouts. My suggestion to clear those up is when your in the shower, put the same soap you use to wash your body (except for bar soap because that will really make things dry up) on a scrubbie, lather it up and literally scrub your face with decent amount of pressure. This takes the dead skin off your face which is what is preventing those pores from breathing. But make sure when you get out of the shower to moisten your face with the Olay cream. Depending on how bad your breakouts are is how often you should scrub your face, but start with once every other day and put the lotion on two times a day-before you put your makeup on in the a.m. and after you take it off at night. A couple more things..try using only powder cover up, because that wont clog your pores as much (nomatter what kind of makeup it is it clogs your pores somewhat). And finally be careful of the water temperature when you rinse off the soap in the shower, after you take off some dead skin your face is pretty sensitive to heat so turn the temp. down before you rinse..hope this helps!!

Everyone's skin is different, so it may take a few tries for you to find a good face lotion. Just go to Walmart or a store like that and go to where they keep all their acne/face washes and creams. There will also be lotions there especially for your face. Try a few out and see if you can find one that will moisturize you well and not make you break out. If none of the inexpensive ones work then I would try Mary Kay or Avon.
Don't use regular hand lotion, or baby oil. As to what someone said about Vaseline, not sure if that would make it worse or better. I'd try face lotions first. Good luck!

Use Oil of Olay sensitive skin face moisturizer, it's not that expensive and works wonders, I swear by it. Make sure you put moisturizer on before you go outside in the cold weather as well because cold can be very drying. Also use tepid water when you wash your face and do not use anything too abrasive this will only aggravate your skin.

Hydrate the skin and NOT brake out a typically oily person... I would recommend Mary Kay's Oil Free Hydrating Gel. You want a moisturizer made for oily skin if you are blemish prone.

If you want to take care of patchiness.. use a microdermabrasion creme at night, to shloff off access skin cells.

Make sure your cleanser is right for your skin type.. this could cause you to get worse... Avoid using acne products while fighting dry spells.

OK YOU NEED OIL FREE MOISTURIZER!!!!!! Do NOT get regular moisturizer if you're prone to breakouts, it will make it worse. Oil free moisturizer will hydrate your skin while keeping it clear. A cheap one is Clean & Clear oil free moisturizer, but if you don't mind spending money a more expensive one would be anything by Clinique. Good luck!
****Also, don't listen to the answer above, to get rid of breakouts, DON'T scrub your face. That's stupid, it just irritates your skin further. I've been going to a professional dermatologist for years to keep my skin clear. What you need is a good, non-drying facial cleanser like Clearasil. Or any of the facial cleansers by Clinique are GREAT. My suggestion is cream cleansers, they are light and your skin feels soft AND clean after using it.

Please try olay its affordable and it works absolute wonders.Trust me i never use anything else, and iv always suffered with dry flakey skin especially after washing, but as soon as you put it on theirs an instant releif, and it lasts till next time you wash.Get the regular 1as others can be too strong for your type of skin(like mine),i wont even use the sensitive 1 i tried it but went back to the regular 1but it might suit you(regular fist though).
Im in my forties now,and people say i have great skin, little do they no.Great for keeping wrinkles at bay, before you get them.I have hardly any.THATS THE TRUTH.Its brilliant for under makeup including foundation.Just slap it on girl..............HOPE IT DOES THE SAME FOR YOU. SURE IT WILL.

try some Shea butter from Palmer's. You can get in it Wal-Mart. Massage a small amount into your skin and then apply makeup. Use it as a night cream to moisturize while you sleep. It's all natural and works on hair and skin. Also, it's very reasonably priced. Around $5.00 for a huge jar.

I like Avon's Moisture 24. I have dry sensitive skin and this works very well. And it's not too expensive, about $15 CDN a jar.

You should go with some Mineral makeup. I read in cosmo girl that any1 w. dry skin should wear mineral make up. Also, use a mosturizing foundation. That should help, too!
