Wow, where's the racist a s s award when you need it?
There's some cultures and religious groups who don't believe in birth control. I don't hear you talking about the amount of kids some Mormons have.

I am so sorry you feel that way.Mexicans as you call them are people too.Most educated mexicans dont "breed like mice" We breed out of love Then you have the mexicans that love kids and have way too many .and the burden falls on the states.Then you have the ones that are careless and dont believe in abortion.Then you have the ones whose parents make them work in the fields of idaho and oregon.Its not just the mexicans that have alot of kids . But we are proud and we are a united family We share what we have.We might not be rich and we might not own anything other than our homes But we have the one thing money cant buy.. Love.....And at Christmas when you sit alone looking for someone to celebrate life with....think of our large 'breeding' families surrounding the dinner table eating our hot tamales and tortillas. We will be thinking of you....and praying for you.......... that you will stop judging people and embrace them instead....God BlessYou

They have had a lot in the past, but now a days they are having around 2-3 kids. But of course not all did in the old days, and some people there are having a lot like their parents did. My husband comes from a family of 9 kids and he is from Mexico, but he doesn't want that many, he and I want 2-3. All his brothers or sisters that have kids only have 1 or 2. One of his sisters has one boy and he is 9 and she isnt planning on having any more anytime soon.

for one, thats a stereotype. thas like sayin why do African Americans like chicken, or why do "white" people act holier-than-thou. dont feed into that bull sh!t.
for two, it jus might be their culture.
for three, if they are "Mexican"(born in Mexico, not "Mexican-Americans" born in America) most do not have enough money for birth control.
for four, many Mexican families are Catholic, and do not believe in birth control. which means: NO condoms, NO birth control pills, patches, rings, NO day-after remedies, and NO abortion. they believe in pulling out, which most people know, doesnt always work.
for five, maybe they want a big family.

Many of them are Catholic, and practicing Catholics do not use artificial birth control like the pill, etc. Also, like the Irish who came to America in large numbers, it is to a family's advantage to have many kids. Once they are of age, they can work and bring extra money to the table.

Because they can...who cares....they can do what they want...I want to have a big family...Plus Mexicans know how to cook for that many people...when I have a big family...my friend...she is mexican is going to teach me ways to cook for such a large group of people.

but it seems like they have a lot of kids because their religion is roman catholic i believe and that religion doesnt believe in the use of contraception
