Yes, it's quite a stretch - but it has a lot of viewers. It's become very popular since it started. At least there aren't any really old people on like George Hamilton & Jerry Springer.
It's more of a popularity contest than a dance contest anyway.
People will vote for Laila Ali because of her father, etc.

I watched GMA this morning for the announcement. We'll just be watching to see how that guy from The Sopranos does. That'll be a train wreck. We're hopefully rooting Clyde "The Glide" Drexler. Hey, why not, Emmet Smith won last year!

I've never heard of half the people that appear on that show!
I guess it's just the only people that would actually agree to be on that show. I mean, what have they got to lose? Most people have never heard of them anyway.

The "dancing" on that show is pathetic...if you want to watch better dancing, watch "So You Think You Can Dance." Hmmm, that title is kind of dumb too, isn't it?
