Ok so I was supposed to have my period around Feb. 6th. It never came. (And still hasn't.) I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and it was negative. So what do I do now? I still haven't gotten my period.

Don't worry it will come when it's ready. Your probably up under a lot of stress. If your not stressed then your period is trying to regulate itself once again. It will come so stop worrying. If you got a negative result on a pregnancy test then you have nothing to worry about. This has happened to me so many times over the years. My period comes on different days every month. I don't even try to keep track of it because it just comes when it wants to. As long as it comes every month for me then I don't care what day it arrives. Don't stress to much. It's probably on it's way.

My first year in graduate school I did not have a period for 14 months! Absolutely nothing was "wrong" but it was the stress. It is sometimes called West Point Syndrome because it has been recorded quite frequently with female officers to be going through the first rigors of entering the military. You may have to retest on the preggers test and see the doctor but you likely are FINE. Hang in there, I know this is annoying! :-) Hugs to you.

I'd take another home pregnancy test. I know that I got 2 negative tests before finally getting a positive when I was 2 weeks late. After you get the results from the test, call your doctor's office.

Depending on your age and habits, as others have said, it could simply be stress. Heavy stress can delay your period, as can extreme physical activity every day (i.e. gymnasts often don't even start menstruating until they are 17 or older!).

I would recommend you see a Doctor. If you don't have health insurance, you can be seen for free at many clinics. Here in California, you can get good care at Planned Parenthood for free if you are very low income. For location information, see www.plannedparenthood.org

Best of luck,

Probably due to stress. It happens to me all the time. You should go get an exam if you are passed being due for an annual and mention it to the doctor while you are there, but it is probably nothing to be concerned about.
