lol nice question. Cuz yes i would say that my day was fine to someone i dont know in real life, but i find it much easier to be myself online..if that makes any sense. So to answer your question, yeah my day was okay.

Or do you ask someone you don't know if they've had a good day...and hope they say yes so you don't have to hear them complain?

Yes...i always say yes even if I haven't. Its like it's routine to automatically say yes. I dont even think about it

I do because I think it's just another way of saying hello. I don't think people really intend to have you tell them about your horrible day if you've had one. I think it's just away of being polite.

Yes, because the tone of your voice will tell the other person whether or not you gave the correct answer. Humbug

yes, because if I ask them and don't really care to know, I don't want to stand there and act sympthathetic when I really don't care. So I figure people have to feel the same when they ask me.
