ive had an email saying that someone hacked into my ebay account & i have to set up a new account, i cant log into my current account as the email says, when i try to rest my password i get an email saying dont click the link but paste into my search engine, im not sure what the hell is going on but its a bit fishy
does any one know hot tel ebay to ask questions
( obviously i cant email them as my account doesnt work
please help

Hi. This sounds like a fake email pretending to be from ebay, DO NOT click on any link on it. Go to your Ebay account trough your seaech engine and click on MY EBAY. If the same message is not there it is a scam to get your details.

The tel No' is 020 8605 3000 - but unfortuneately it is just automated. there is a fax number 020 8605 3001 if you have the use of a fax.
try going to Help on the ebay menu on the left it should say contact us and then go through that process.

This just happened to me three days ago. Use the below link. They will ask you some questions and attempt to call you while you. I had to change my email password and my Ebay password, but now all is well with my account. Best of luck to you.

hi,don't reply to the email,if you haven't clicked on a link and entered information you are ok,if you have report it to spoof@ebay.co.uk. Whenever you log onto ebay always open up a new browser.

sounds like you have been phished. Email ebay and close the account and open a new one. I would not keep a compromised account.
