A couple of dreams of things i really wanted to do have come true and they were amazing, even exceeded expectations. But I personally learned that expectation is a hard thing, especially from people because so often people don't live up to our expectations and disappoint us, whether they mean to or not, often not but sometimes meaning to.
Often because we have a preconceived notion we are disappointed when it doesnt happen like in our heads (like our childhood cinderella dreams of prince charming or true love! very differerent from the reality!) but as we grow older we can learn to think about things with an open mind so we wo'nt be disappointed when things go to plan. Also I think films and tv if we watch a lot from a young age can give us certain expectations of what life might be like when really it isn't.
C'est la vie.

Life
You can always expect the unexpected. You know variety is the spice of life. Keep your expectations fluid and vague but generally keep a bead on your goals. Roll with it.

I have learned to hope for the best but to expect the worst. The two times anything exceeded my expectations were how beautiful my children were to me when they were born. It was mind blowing.

Yep, my hubby. I really can't fault the man. We're really good together. But i always found throughout life that i never have had expectations of anyone. I take people as they are.

Your question got me thinking! I think if you make expectations you are living the experience before experiencing - deep? not really! You only really disappoint yourself.

Having children has been an overwhelming blessing, far exceeding my expectations. I did not know I could love like that.
