hi
im a lesbian and me and my girlfriend have been trying for a baby for 4 years our male friend as been donating to us and we have been inseminateing her,we got pregnant once 2 years ago but misscarried at 11 weeks,we do the ovulation tests everymonth and her periods are always spot on and the test shows she ovulates when she should but we still dont get caught, she says she doesnt need any fertility tests cause she ovulates like she should do and her periods are always on time, and he already as children so it cant be him,i try to convince her 2 go for tests but she says theres no need,so i guess my question is,can you still have fertility problems although you ovulate on time and have periods on time?i cant have children as i have PCOS so i cant try?

Ok, just because he has kids doesn't mean it isn't him. Secondly, insemination at home has a very very low success rate, you should be using a Reproductive Endocrinologist and doing IUI. If a woman is ovulating and having normal cycles that doesn't mean her tubes are clear. She should definantly have an HSG to rule out blocked fallopian tubes. Also, there are many meds to help with PCOS and you should be able to successfully carry a baby to term.
