I know a magician never reveals his tricks, but does anyone have any clue, or at least a good guess at how that levitation stuff works? I can explain the flying, but not the levitation.

Anyone?

Please, this is driving me nuts.

There's a couple ways. Obviously, there's fishwire. But what you're probably looking for is the video below in my source section.

Which one the simple pub one or the one with the fork lift?
Simple one
Stand up, put both feet close together and in line. keep one foot straight and lift the other works best with trousers.

Fork lift
Lay on a platform, Fork lift on the other side of the curtain, fork lift forks on underneath cloth you are laying on. have stage fans blow softy so cloth floats, Assistants pretend to lift you then let you go,
you look like your hovering. Folk lift puts you down.

...... or something like that.

Good luck :)

For David Blaine i know he just stands on his tippy toes at the right angle. Thats why he always makes people stand together so they cant see what hes really doing. All the other stuff is just smoke and mirrors.

There are various ways, I'm not sure which one you are referring to, but it doesn't really matter, as a real magician never reveals his secrets to outsiders.
