Lets see I spend about 300 a year on clothes so. That would be on average 25 dollars a month or 6.25 dollars a week by just doing the math. I do not go shopping every week. My new duds usually come at tax return time. So we could say March I spend 300 dollars and the rest of the time my money goes to things more important.

Interesting question.
From an americans perspective, I live in an upper class comunity, where most people are still wearing their suit from their day at the office at the grocery store. its rare to see someone in a Tshirt at the grocery store here. as opposed to my old town, i was one of the only people i'd ever see wearing a suit.
Now that I'm here, I have three kids, a wife and a full time college career going. I spend about 300USD every two months on the kids. to buy a few new outfits. For myslef, I spend maybe 300 a year, shoes included until my my clothes wear out, or get completly out of style.
one thing here, we have JCpenny sales here, and I buy Arizona jeans for myslef for 6-8 dollars and I'll buy 20 pairs or so. I have a pair of them that are 12 years old and look as good as my new ones.
to answer the question with out the background.

i assume with no kids, people tend to spend a lot more on theirselves, with kids you learn to make clothes continue to stay nice.

Almost nothing.
I primarily buy clothes when they are on sale, and I end up doing this perhaps once a quarter. I rarely spend more than $100, closer to $50, doing it.
So this is below your lowest choice.
When picking choices, try to make sure you have all the possibilities covered. Perhaps your first choice should have been "Up to £30."
