i need a website that you can download songs, and i don't want to download anything other than the song, i don't want to sign up to anything, and i want it to be free.

Generally you can get free songs legally from a Band's homepage.
Sites like:
Apple.com
Napster.com
Rhapsody.com
etc have varying degrees of free songs - but you generally don't get to choose what to download- and generally can only download one song a day.
There are a lot of 'unsigned' bands on Myspace that allow you to download their music.
Generally, all other sites offering free downloads are illegal!

If you are looking for free then try limewire.com or kazaa.com.....but as far as signing up, you have to sign up for it. You have to sign up for anything u do. It is totally free though
