There are as many secrets as people who have ever lived, and much more than that, I'm sure. Every human being has unshared thoughts (i.e., secrets) and dreams; some have a few, others have many. So, really, it is an unanswerable question.

There is a phrase, everyone has a skeleton in his closet. So everyone has at least one personal secrets. The population of Earth is 6 billions strong. As of today, it will be more than 6 billions secrets hiden.
If a secret is revealed, it no longer becomes a secret. So if you need facts about secrets, what will be secret of the past.
One secret of Coca cola was they use corn syrup instead of sugar to lower the cost in their soda. And they beat Pepsi for cost advantages for a while.
