well it's not that it's really embarrassing other than the fact that people were kinda wondering how horrible of a mother I was....

my son was about 5 years old and we were standing in line at a fast food place and all of a sudden he belted out.... SMOKE WEED EVERYDAY... I guess I had been listening to Dr. Dre a little too much... the people around me looked at me and looked at him and looked back at me and we left... I laughed so hard in the car and told him never to say that again...

I don't have a child, but my brother takes the cake on this one!
One day me, my brother, and my mother were walking through the grocery store (I was about 14, my brother about 4, so this about 6 or 7 years ago). My brother had just learned how to talk, was perfect on his colors, and was the most curious child I'd ever seen asking questions and noticing things constantly. As we walked down an aisle, my brother stood up in the buggy, pointed to an older black man who was looking at cereal and shouted "Mama! It's a brown man!". Me and my mother turned all kinds of shades of red and begged my brother to be quiet but he didn't listen, "But Mama! He's BROWN! How come he's brown, Mama? Koddon, you see the brown man?" (he still wasn't great on pronouncing my name "Kristin" so he called me what sounded like "Koddon". Kind of like "cotton" only with d's). The more we tried to shush him, the louder he got, wanting an answer. When the black man walked by, we apologized left and right. He just smiled and said "no problem". My mother and I still laugh about it, even though it was extremely embarrassing at the time!

Don't have kids yet, but my mom said when I was small like 3-4 years, we were at a restaurant and my dad and her were arguing over something. She brought me to the bathroom and was muttering to herself and I overheard.
Mom said I went crying and running to my dad and said very loudly (lots of people heard)
" Daddy, mommy called you a As* Hole"

When my oldest son was 3 we were in a pharmacy and I was looking for asprin and he loudly announced (is there any other way at that age) that he knew I took drugs but it was OK becasue I only took the good drugs!
I left without buying the asprin.

Great Q, cutie!
Leaving a supermarket I started racing my four year old son to the car.
He loved that, but this time he yelled with glee as I was 'running with all the sacks', "Don't hurt me, Daddy, please don't hurt me!"
(BTW I NEVER EVER hurt him!)

we were at a car dealership and there was a lady that was working there and he pointed at her and practically yelled, "mom she's fat!"...

i was more than embarrassed... i took him to the restroom and got on to him for it... explained to him that it wasn't nice to say things like that...

i'll never forget it.

everyone was staring at us.
