This question is not universal.. We are all different and indivisuals, so you can't really compare too much one from another. Or nevertheless stereo type ALL. Majority maybe, i'll give you that, but not all women are the same. Ranging in ages, maturity, and expirences, and status, we all want similar things, but also we are all different levels in our lives, so what one wants at age 20 for example, may not suit a 30 or 40 yr. old. So if you could be more specific with the question it would be much easier to get better opinions.
By the way i can only speak for myself, as a divorced, experienced, mother of 2 teenagers, single not dating, but waiting, woman... that in the end of it all, when it comes to relationships, i want something solid, that i can see being in my future long term, something a younger person might not agree with, because they have yet to experience and discover things still..

Everything. In a man, They say they want someone nice, sensitive, and caring but the majority fall for the bad boy. They see him as sort of a project, a cause. Someone they can fix and mold into the nice guy. Never works. You can't change people. So after several crappy relationships they go for that nice guy. He isn't what they want either. He's too nice, They want to toughen him up. Bye bye nice guy. And so continues an endless search for perfection.
They approach other aspects in life the same way. They want to be feminine and sweet, and be spoiled by someone. And then they want to be in charge, in control, doing whatever a man can do. They. Want. Everything!
Bottom Line: Women are insane.

some prefer a friend before anything else, so that way she knows that you will always care for her, even if you do break up after trying to date. Others just want something romantic. Some just want you to know her, without having to ask too many questions. Most don't want to be intimidated, trying to pry too fast might loose that. You have to be pretty open with new people, to see for yourself.
And women just want Chocolate!

SECURITY
in money, making sure your always be there, you can protect them from harm, you wont harm them, love will never go away thats basically what I want and a man thats good in bed

I want a man who views me as his equal. I want him to respect me, himself and our relationship. If I'm giving 100% in the relationship he should be giving 100% as well.

Their own way no matter what!! If it is not offered outright, comments and questions will direct you to what it is they want to hear you say. You ussually get a pat on the head, cheeky kiss, and "oh I love you so much" in return. (pat on the head and "good boy" while you wag your tail at your masters approval).

honest caring (somewhat) sensitive men who will never cheat on them and is always there to (seem like they) understand when we are feeling lied to.
