Not greener at all as cotton is imported and the manufacture in England is likely to be less than 'green'. Not even ethically right either. An Indian shirt maker really really needs those few pennies he or she gets for making a shirt, There is no social security. So buy buying hand made in England you are paying a premium to deprive probably a whole family from a minimal income they depend on. Does not sound right to me. Even the Child labour bit does not bear closer inspection. Research a bit more about the lives of the people who make the products you use. Then decide.

I'm actually wearing an organic shirt right now. I think they are comfortable. It's not itchy like some synthetic materials, it breaths really well. Plus when I washed it that first time I noticed it didn't shrink like some of my other plain cotton shirts did.

I suppose they would be handy on a desert island as you could presumably eat them. Organic clothing is too dear in this part of the world and for most people on a budget.

Yes, I would, but there would also have to be some aesthetic reason I would buy the T-shirt too i.e. I would have to think it looked good.
