I started taking Alesse 28 birth control pills a month ago..and i've been having this annoying spotting and break-through bleeding ever since I started. Will this eventually go away or should I seek out a different pill?

Alesse is an ultra low dose birth control and you may just need a higher strength. I took it and had spotting all the time and switched pills and it stopped.

Generally your doctor will want you to stick with a pill for up to 3 months for your body to adjust. Alesse is a low dosage pill and you may need something a bit stronger. Keep track and talk to your doctor. Sometimes they will switch you before that 3 months if symptoms become unbearable.

If you are still having this problem after three months then you will need to go on a different dose pill. It takes a while for your body to get used to teh hormones, but things have generally settled down after three months, so if it still isn't right by then you should go back to your doctor for a different pill. I had to go through at least 5 different pills (three months on each) to find one that didn't give me breakthrough bleeding,

Give it a few pill packs before you call the doc and ask to change to another brand of pill. It can take a bit to get it on track.

properly, the ineffective blood subject makes it sound like mine used to look while my era became abnormal....that is like it gets stopped up or some thing (very scientific term, i understand). for my area, i think of taking basically the lively pills can shrink to rubble your hormones (o.k., i will admit i'm no longer a large guy made hormone fan to start with--yet I"m heavily putting aside my biases to reply to you--to each and each his own). My guess is that is as close to to a era as you will get and not something very huge to hassle approximately. Your physique desires to shed the liner of its uterus--that is no longer in all risk healthful for it to no longer accomplish that (your OB/gyn would be certain this i desire). the two way, i think of you're able to easily double verify w/the checklist to make advantageous all is definitely....yet heavily, i would not hassle.
