It was Moses who led the Isrealites out of Egypt and through the Red Sea.

They then wandered the wilderness for 40 years before God brought them to the Promised Land.

When the Israelites first arrived in Canaan and spies were sent into the city to scope things out, two of those spies were Joshua and Caleb.

The Bible does not say how old Joshua and Caleb were when they were sent into Canaan as spies - so it is possible that Joshua crossed the Red Sea as a child... or he may have been born during the 40 years of wandering the wilderness.

Joshua would have been old enough to have crossed the Red Sea with Moses. Shortly after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, Joshua and Caleb were among the 12 spies sent to investigate the land of Canaan. This could not have been done by an infant. Because ten of the spies gave negative reports and Israel complained about leaving slavery in Egypt, they were forced to wander the wilderness for 40 years. During that time, Joshua had become a trusted aid of Moses and a dedicated servant of God. That is why he was chosen to then lead the Israelites into the land of Canaan and defeat the people there.

I don't believe that there is a specific reference to Joshua at the Red Sea, but from the above info, it can be readily deduced. These accounts are found in Numbers, Dueteronomy and Joshua.

Hope this helps.
