Should the toilet seat be left UP or DOWN??
I vote for down. Nothing more annoying than falling in in the middle of the night!!

Should be down with the lid down as well. That way everyone has to open and close each time no matter if you sit or stand.

Easy to answer.
Go to any hardware store and its referred to as a toilet seat."SEAT" that means down.The seat is meant to cover the bowl of the toilet so people are comfortable when sitting down.
However, some people confuse the seat with the lid. The lid covers the seat. The lid can stay up.
Of course, my hubby sometimes forgets to put it down at night. I have a little light that sticks to the lid. It shoots a small beam of light into the bowl. Never fell in after that. LOL

I vote for down too because you wouldn't want to fall in the toilet in the middle of the night and its better hygiene if the tolilet seat is down.So I agree with you.

Don't count up out. Do you really want to risk falling in in the middle of the night, or risk sitting on a peed on toilet seat in the middle of the night? Hmmm? Ladies?

I think it depends on the house owner. ie. If it's a mans house it's only polite put it up after use and if it's a womans house the guys should put it down. However if it's a family or if there is a man and woman who owns the house it shoudls be put down for hyginne reasons as well as the annoyance of it being up and children disapering down the loo then wetting them selves for being to scared to use it again because they fell down it before, + (guys tend to pee on the seat sometimes) SORRY Gents but you know it's true.

I don't diagree that wakeing up in the middle of the night and falling is not fun..but...I think that we are not to lazy to put it down..And for that matter put it back up when we are done....
The way I look at it..is that if I put it back up then I don't need to worry if my man pee's on the seat (being to lazy to put it up)

It should be halfway between up and down at all times, This way both the dude and the girl are satisfied, you know like a compromise ;) You can sit on it and not fall through, and i can have fun pissing around it and trying not to splatter on your toothbrush.

LoL, I think that when you are in a mans house...the owner is a man and there are no females living there...woman should have to put the seat down and put it up when finished. When you are in a girls house, the man should put the seat down. Its common courtesy....I think if you are home with your lover...you should learn to look before you sit down just like he should learn to put it down. Its even to me.

Down because women only use it down and men sometimes use it down and that makes a majority ! Yes I know men use it up [ I hope ] at times.

Down at home if there are girls around. Up in the men's room if guys often pee in the toilets in there, especially if it's busy.
