Be sure to use a water dechlorinator in the new water for the young fish other additives aren't really needed. A bit of salt ( about 2 teaspoons per 5 gallons) is not a bad idea as it can help reduce the potential for fungus.

Best of luck and congrats on the babies!

It all depends on a few things. As betta if you remove the fish all the males will fight each other to the death when you reintroduce them back into the tank. If you are not removing the fish do a partial water change taking extreme care with the temperature. Adding aquarium salt would be okay as far as the purifier if you are doing it to bring the ph right go for it. Do not use a filtration system yet they are not old enough and really don't require it. The less you interupt them in the growing months the better results you will have. I had a tank of 14 fry survive they are wonderful fish! Good Luck

I believe Betas are freshwater fish (I could be wrong). If this is the case, you should not use aquarium salt as it will spoil their environment.
Water purifiers should not be installed unless 1) the fish are large enough to escape the miniscule current, or 2) the purifer has a cover on it that will not suck the fries inside.

You can but if I were you i would wait until they are 2 months old unless the tank is like a mud puddle.
