Because it is those years that are totally embarrassing and people will remember u by them for the rest of your life!!! It's also the times were harmones kick in, acne rules, rebelling against your parents defies them, getting grounded, your first High School Crush, heart breakers that come and go---all of those GREAT things we would just love to forget about!!!

B/c of the social groups but just do what I did and think of how fat and ugly the so called popular prettty girls/boys will be in the next ten yrs. Thats what got me through without losing my mind. Now that I'm out I'd gladly say screw you to all those people I hated that treated me like crap.

Because, you're at an age when you want to start making your own choices and decisions and a bunch of people that you don't like or respect are forcing you to spend a 1/3 of your life (or more) doing what they want you to do.
