I think it is good to have such a positive attitude and you should in a sense love everyone. If we all felt more love for one another the world would be a little better of a place. However some people are a little uncomfortable by those phrases. If you had a job and called all your customers babe you could have some older ladies looking at you funny, men thinking your hitting on them when your not, or people getting jealous well you know by assuming you are hitting on their partner. If I were you I would limit the babes, hun and love to only people you know. But keep up the positive outlook cuz lord knows not everyone out there are qualified to be called hun or babe

It can be. But most of the time not. You need to consider who you are and the feelings or reactions of the other people.
IF you are big breasted, blonde, green eyed and gorgeous. (and between 18 and 22) Then it would be best that you not hug on me and call me hon or lovey or similar. Because I guarantee I will begin to wonder. . . . Some things you don't want me wondering.
So discretion is important in some cases. Older men. Men you don't know very well.
But people you are well acquainted with will probably know you don't mean anything by it. But sometimes even these can be "teased" and will not let on to you that it is happening.
"Like a gold ring in a pigs snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion." That's somewhere in the Bible.

I don't mind the friendly hugs but I hate hun and babe. And I don't need people constantly telling me they love me. It wouldn't matter whether you had a boyfriend or not. Ooo-just thinking of someone calling me hun or babe-ugh. Are you a New York waitress? Maybe a New Jersey waitress?

Is it wrong to love and or show affection to anybody? No it is not wrong. It should be how we all act toward each other.
Unfortunately, expressing love toward other people can be misinterpreted as being sexually motivated or flirtatious.
Then there is the "boyfriend" that gets jealous because of his own insecurity. Ultimately he will convince him self that the trust in the relationship is in question... i.e.. if she loves me... why is she hugging that other person? etc....
You sound like a warm, loving, friendly person. Keep being yourself!
Reassure your significant other. If they are incapable of trusting your true love.... move on to someone who will honor and adore that very nature that is who you are.

It's not wrong, but the problem is that people around you may not understand your intentions. What if I were madly in love with you and you were giving me hugs. To you, it's only a friendly hug, but to me, feeling the softness of your warm, delicate body in a hug could my only chance at feeling what loving you is like.
In that sense, your action could be misinterpretted. Make sure you limit who you hug and kiss (in a friendly sense) and make sure you have communicated your specific intentions behind those actions.

It sounds all mushy. You should only hug someone if you mean it and call them babe and hun if you really know them and love them, platonically, I mean.

It's not wrong, however you have to realize that some people may not take it for just being friendly and that can put you into some stick situations.
