Don't use an online translator. They generate awful sentences that make no sense.
If you use Windows XP, go to Control Panel->Regional and Language Settings -> Languages. If you have an older XP, there will be a keyboard setting button. On newer XP's, there is a "Details" button.
Go there, and under "settings" make sure you have both the Russian language support, and the Russian keyboard installed. Click "Add" if not. Click the box to enable the language bar.
Then, click on the "Advanced" tab, and check the box that says "Extend support of advanced text services to all programs".
Click "Ok" twice to get out, and reboot your computer.
After all that, simply click on the language bar Icon in your system tray to select your keyboard, or press the keystrokes you assigned to switch keyboards (default = Alt-Shift)
The fonts are built into Windows XP. You don't have to install them.
