I don't know how different I am.
Sometimes I think we are all kinda the same. but then I think I am completely different from everyone, and no one sees the world like I do, or understant the way I see it (I am a teen ager still, officially, and get get away with feeling this way).
why?
I guess if are diffrent from each other it's because we are arouind diffrent things, or at diffrent stages of our developments, and sense things differently.
of course that doesn't answer- I just said we are different because we are different...
what I meant is- we are put in different situations, around different people.
some people believe you have pass lives, and that affects it, maybe so, but still- it is only because in your past life you have been in a different position that of someone else.
or maybe, simply, if you believe in the soul of each person as its true essence- souls are just diffrent.
but than again, that is saying- we are different because we are different...
so yeah....
how I didn't confuse you too much ;)

I am different from the others, in sense that I have particular combination of characteristics and abilities that most of people do not have. But I still share some same characteristics with others, e.g.: can feel happy, sad, confident, frustrated, etc.
If you ask me why, I can refer you to some factors:
1. Genes: there are no two instances of human being with same combination of genes.
2. Experience, especially when you are very young and very dependent to your parents.
3. Education and training: you can enhance your skill or obtain new habits through continuous training.
4. Environment (social and physical): that is why people of certain social class, certain country, or certain physical condition may have special characteristics.

Not that much different at all.
Maybe my interests, quirks, n circumstances, etc. are different from some, but underneath it all, everyone shares the same 'humanness' and this is the bigger part of our non-differences: feelings...struggles...pain...joys...
hunger...hopes...etc.
everyone feels n shares these things...in a deeper sense this makes us more alike than different.

Why ? Because all humans are different due to their genes for a start. And I'm not a clone, although I might have an "alter ego".

If by "you," your are referring to the accumulation of mental and physical factors conventinally called self, then the variance is infinite.
If by "you," you mean an all encompassing god deity outside of the mind´s limited scope of contemplation, then we are all exactly the same.
You should really define "you" first, or at least your version of a self.

From the point of view of the soul, we are one. From the point of view of the mind, because we came from different orientations, we are different. The trick is to use our differences to do different things that will contribute to one goal....to CO-CREATE HAPPINESS, INFINITE HAPPINESS!
