I just bought a wireless laptop that easily pick up wireless connection from nearby sources. As a matter of fact, I'm using my neighbor's (whom i dont know) his/her unsecured wireless internet connection. Now, Im confused if this a safe thing to do..Is it? I've read articles say it is unsafe for the internet connection source which in this case refers to my neighbor, but what about me? could i shop online in which i'll give my credit card number & etc...there's an encryption in those online stores...pls. help me. thanks to everyone. :-)

You are hijacking someones wireless Internet and your asking if it's safe to give your credit card? LOL.

Not exactly a smart move considering you could be traced or
discovered.
