Given the dire events that may have occurred in some hospitals during Hurricane Katrina, would you oppose or defend euthanasia for terminally ill patients in extreme circumstances, such as those who are in severe pain without palliative treatment or hope for rescue in the foreseeable future

The only euthanasia that should EVER be legal is SUICIDE.

The fact that euthanasia is legal in many places while suicide is not, boggles the HELL out of my mind.

So the state has a right to your life, but you do not?

Euthanasia should be outlawed in ALL circumstances. Terminally ill patients will just have to await death. It is still murder.

I say do the best you can to keep them alive, as it is ultimately God's will as to whether or not they survive.
