championship gaming invitational?

why is the championship gaming invitational only xbox and pc games and not ps3?

I've wondered the same thing and the only anwser I can come up with is that the ps3 must not have good enough multiplayer games yet, but that still doesn't answer why they dont use any gamecube games like smash brothers or ps2 games like tekken or some racing games I hardly consider it a gaming invitational if they only use half the systems that are out there.
