Hallelujah!! I have been on that page for quite some time, now. I am always getting scolded for bringing up "bad ideas" of what may or may not happen by other people, and that is just silly!! I am totally thinking of the worst thing that could happen so that I will be prepared for it, if and when it may occur--therefore, when the sh*t does hit the fan, I will not be so upset about it. I probably won't even be shocked, amazed or ashamed - or negative in any way at all, when and if the worst case scenario occurs. If this isn't a pessimistic approach to life--then I would like to know what is!! Plus, I must say that out of all those people who scold me for being a pessimist, I am always smiling and seem to be the one that everyone cries to when they can not seem to keep it together. Those crybabies need our attitude of "...Enjoy this pain while it lasts...cause it only gets worse from here on out!!"

No, pessimists are always the ones who have the worst luck in the world. Nothing ever goes right for them and so they tend to look at the world in a bad light. Optimists try to see the good in every situation. And in the end they're happier for it.

The optimist can never be pleasantly surprised.

The optimist feels we live in the best of all possible worlds. The pessimist fears this is true.
