Whatever happened to the legendary singer, Billy Ocean?

Man, that guy was talented. I have that song, "Get out of my dreams, get into my car" stuck in my head today. He also had that song, "Suddenly." That one was popular with the lady folk.

Also, whatever happened to Michael Bolton, and Kenny G? Those guys are classic!!!

Billy Ocean was really popular from 84-89. After that, like many other 80's artists, the public ran away from 80's style acts. That's what is killing Kenny G and Michael bolton too.

BILLY OCEAN

n fact, Billy Ocean's last studio album for Jive was Time to Move On, which he recorded in Chicago with R&B star R. Kelly. It turned out, that R. Kelly had been a long-time admirer of the way Ocean was able to mix the more emotive soul style with a crossover pop vibe. It is evident that the two got on well as writers in the studio.

In 2002, the University of Westminster awarded Ocean an honorary doctorate of music. He continues to tour and record in Europe, working out of his sprawling country estate in Wickford, Essex, where he lives with his wife of 39 years, Imelda, and their nine children - Christopher, Alex, Joseph, James, Paul, Gavin, Samuel, James Jnr, and Polandn. Their 10th child, Cruzby, is severely mentally retarded and therefore is not discussed.

KENNY G

Kenny G is a regular golfer[1] and has a playing handicap of 1. He participates in pro-celebrity tournaments such as the AT&T at Pebble Beach each February, where he is widely recognised by his 'celebrity' colleagues as the best golfer amongst them.

Michael Bolton

Bolton is the father of three daughters (Isa, Holly and Taryn) born during his 1975-1990 marriage to Maureen McGuire. Between 1993 and 1995, he dated Knots Landing actress Nicollette Sheridan after his marriage to McGuire fizzled and hers with actor Harry Hamlin did as well. In 2006, it was noted that he and Nicollete were back together after he accompanied her to the 2006 Primetime Emmy Awards in January. In late February it was announced that Bolton and actress Sheridan were engaged after she proposed in the Bahamas.

In 1993, he established the Michael Bolton Foundation (now the Michael Bolton Charities) to assist women and children at risk from the effects of poverty and emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. The foundation has provided over $3.7 million in funding to local and national charities.

Bolton also serves as the honorary chairman of Prevent Child Abuse America, the national chairman for This Close for Cancer Research, and a board member for the National Mentoring Partnership and the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

In March 2003, Bolton joined with Lifetime Television, Verizon Wireless, and many others to lobby on behalf of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, urging legislation to provide more assistance for victims of domestic violence, such as affordable housing options.
