Why do we think its so good to like a celeb that has done nothin for us, they have loads of money and they dont do anything for it like paris hilton WHY IS SHE HERE she serves no purpose for life. is this just me?

Paris is just like everyone's guilty pleasure; there is no reason to like her, there are tons of reasons to dislike her, she doesn't work, doesn't help needed people, she's not even pretty, etc, etc...
But psychologically speaking she represents somehow the life "we" (the majority) want to live, with not worries, wealthiness, fame, attention; so that's why most of people "like" her or seem interested in knowing every little thing she does or buying magazines with her pic on the cover. She seems call the attention of the masses by apparently no reason, but the truth is that aside of the "dark" side her life could have, that is the life we all want.
Or who of you wouldn't like not having to do anything to be rich and famous?

some celebrities do good and entertain us!
Angelina Jolie, Gerard Way, Neil Armstrong, Oprah, Damonte, Steven spielburg, etc
musicians, artists, writers, etc
you might not put much of a value on what they do, but they do it because it's what makes them happy and will keep doing it no matter who wants to ^itch them about it. If they make some dough going it, its because they are one of the best out there. Hands down!

I second you. celebs serves absolutely no purposes, except for stupid ppl who wants to worship them. I`d be happy if the whole bunch went away. They all just wants their ego`s fed all the time.
