What is happening is without realizing it your touching your chin, I do the same thing at my desk I will lean on my desk and suport my face with my hand or rub my sleve on my face without realizing it. save your money try to break the habbit of touching your face also will help stop any breakouts as well. Our hands are covered in germs and bacteria thus infecting our pores

I am a BeautiControl distributor and there are a couple of things to look at. Maybe your skin care is too harsh for your face so that the moisturizer isn't taking care of it properly. also, a good product with alpha hydroxy can help with scaliness. I do want to caution you that you might have something more wrong like roscacea (sp?), so you might want to have it looked at first. Modern moisturizers should not clog pores. Ask if it's been dermatologically approved.

Mary Kay's Products are all oil free. That is why I love them. My skin freaks out if I put anything other then that on it. I have patches of Dry skin and oily so I use the combination to oily formula. It comes in a cleanser and a moisterizer. You can get it in a full size container then ask the consultant if they can give you a travel size for your purse. I always have one at my desk at work. :-) Its perfect.

St. Ive's- it comes in an orange tub with a red cap, not sure of the exact type but this is what I use and I have the same problems as you...it isn't specifically a face moisturizer but it does the job and I get no clogs!

I have combination skin, normal, oily, and dry. I have found that MaryKay makes wonderful moisturizers. I use the time-wise moisturizer and have not had any dry patches come up during the day

I know I'm just a silly guy, but where are you located? If it's cold where you live, that's probably not helping. Get a humidifier for your bedroom, one of those cool mist ones. and any moisturizer you use, or makeup, should be of the non-oil based type.

I have one idea for you: In the shower, rub some Head and Shoulders shampoo on the dry spots. My dermatologist suggested this; she said it was like dandruff but on my face instead of my scalp. It did the trick, and it hasn't come back, actually

Pure Olive Oil works good. Not too much though. Keep it in a little vial in your purse.

Sleep with Nivea Q10.
Also change your foundation... During the week I use a light Neutrogena.
