You shouldn't ask a guy out, let him come to you... If he's interested in you he would ask you... Don't embrass yourself, becaues if you ask him out and he said no... Thats a shame... So, be a women and let a gentlemen do his thing... Just relax and show him you are interested, but don't ask him out.. Good Luck.

Gather up all of your courage and just do it. Tell him you would like to get to know him better and how would he like to go out with you on Friday night for pizza....You really need to do it, I was you once and didn't ask this guy I really liked out, years later like 25 years we meet each other by chance and went for coffee together...he said he wished he'd asked me out but he was so shy in school and here I was really wanting to go out with him and neither of us make the move to approach the other. We both regret it because we would have been so good together. Past mistake I wish I could change, don't be me! Go for it!

First of all....why are you shy? You need to, "Find" yourself before you get into a relationship with a guy. Being shy is the same as being unsure of yourself. You need confidence in yourself. Discover yourself. You need to like yourself before anyone else can. I bet there's a lot to like. If you don't find yourself to be interesting, then get interested in something. (Hobbies, sports, career). And remember, if he turns you down, don't let it bum you out. You will probably date a lot of guys and have your heart broken a few times before you meet a keeper. HEY.....im 17 also......just go up to him and talk and flirt with him..........im shy to........but sometimes you just have to get over that.....i did and thats how i got my b that i have now
