The girlie's answer your questions as they feel comfortable messing about with a gay boy, generally they love that kind of thing and it doesn't count as cheating or being naughty if they have a boyfriend.
Straight guys may feel strangely attracted to you, though perhaps initially annoying, like a song we may hear for the first time. After hearing it a few times you get used to it and maybe get to really like it and sing along to it and all. Basically they either find you actually annoying, or attracted to you and don't know how to cope so they steer clear of the 'mantrap'.
For the gay boys of course its a matter of being out in the desert (far far away) with a lovely ice lolly represented in front of our noses. And not being able to have a lick. And that can be both annoying and sexually frustrating to run to the ice cream van, just to see it drive off just as you think you've got there, especially after shouting out and waving your hands. Therefore to avoid that they may just not bother. Do you know what I mean? That concludes my answer.

I think they are afraid they might like you. And that would make them second guess their manliness, and then who knows how they will deal! LOL
